We are served with fresh natural onsen water for 24 hours directly running from the source of Akakura Onsen on the south sides of the central cone of Mt.Myoko.
Myoko has three different natural onsen.
Varying mineral composition makes the three different in color as well. Akakura Onsen is clear in color.
Our Onsen is located on the 4th floor with a fine view. You can see the top of Mt.Myoko covered with snow in Winter, red & yellow colored trees in Autumn. The view of Sun rising is outstanding, must to see once if you could be an early bird.

Let us recommend you to try our Japanese cuisine cooked caredully keeping the original taste of ingredients such as local vegetables and fresh seafood in season ; the Sea of Japan is 20 kilometers away. You can also enjoy the cuisine beautifully arranged on a platter with your eyes.
One more recommendable is Sake or rice wine. Niigata produces Japan's best rice. Myoko has 13 meters of snow, on average each year that make plenty of pure water.
We have the great sake in Myoko. Don't forget ordering one in cold or hot with Japanese cuisine.
